Pathfinder Guide: Lancashire Walks

‘Lancashire Walks’ is published by Jarrold Publishing.

I like them because they use proper 1:25000 scale OS Explorer maps. It’s good to have the actual Explorer map with you as well as sometimes navigation is easier when you can see map detail outside of that included in the book, but I reckon you could do most of the walks with just the book.

The book was first published in 2002, but the version I have was revised in 2006. Still, that’s 4 years now in which things can have changed.

The Jarrold Publishing link above sells the book for £11.99 but you needn’t pay that much. I bought it from Amazon for around £8.
